Samantha Joint has strived to challenge herself to work with a wide variety of mediums, all of which she is working with for the first time. Sam's pieces are centered around personal themes, with special attention to words. Every single work that she has created has incorporated words into it in some way, which was a challenge that allowed for various creative opportunities to arise. Many of her pieces are extremely personal, and all of them have varying degrees of extreme personal relevance behind them, making this exhibition a window into the artist herself.
